■ Chat mail
Mail can be sent and received to/from multiple addresses like making conversation.

The communication fee for chat mail to/from multiple addresses is the same as that for sending mail to
multiple addresses at one time.
Short Message (SMS)
Text messages can be exchanged between FOMA terminals.
The address of Short Message (SMS) is the “subscribing mobile phone number”.
The maximum number of characters is different depending on the font type setting (

) are entered, the number of characters that can be sent is reduced.
A Short Message (SMS) sent to FOMA terminal is received by the Short Message Center and sent to
FOMA terminal immediately. If FOMA terminal is turned OFF or outside the service area and message
cannot be received, the Short Message (SMS) is stored in the Short Message Center.
■ Delivered report
You can receive a delivery report that informs whether the other party has received the sent Short
Message (SMS).

specify the storage period.
