You connect to i-mode to view various sites.

can be selected by pressing the numbers corresponding
to the items (Direct Key function). You may not be able to select them on some sites.
Before using i-mode
●
The contents of Sites (Programs) and Internet web pages are usually protected by copyright laws. All or
any portion of text, image or other data imported to your i-mode terminal from a Site (Program) or Internet
web page cannot be altered except for personal use, and cannot be sold or redistributed in any form
without the express permission of the copyright holder.

Data saved/registered in your i-mode terminal (mail, Message R/Fs, screen memos, i-
α
ppli and i-motion)
remains for about 1 month with the battery pack removed or empty battery level, but may be erased if the
terminal is in such condition for more than 1 month. Because data may be lost due to failure, repair or
other handling of i-mode terminal, it is recommended that you maintain a separate record of the data you
registered in your i-mode terminal. We are not responsible for any lost data.

When i-mode terminal is sent for repair, etc., the data you imported using i-mode, i-
α
ppli or
i-motion (except some data) is not transferred to the new mobile terminal in accordance with copyright
laws. You cannot display still images/i-motion/melodies downloaded from sites, attached files sent/
received by mail, screen memos and Message R/Fs when the terminal is turned on with another or no
UIM inserted.

When data with UIM operation restriction function enabled is set for the stand-by display or ring tone, the settings
return to default if another UIM other than yours is inserted or UIM is not inserted. It returns to the previous
settings when the UIM is inserted which was used during receiving/downloading the data.

If you have a PC, data such as mail and bookmarks can be transferred and saved to the PC by using the
FOMA D series data link software in the attached CD-ROM and FOMA USB cable (optional).
