When you attempt to delete Message i-
α
ppli, a confirmation screen is displayed asking whether
to delete the automatically created mail folder at the same time. Select “Yes” to delete the mail
folder and all messages stored in it. Select “No” to delete the software only. However, if there is
any protected message in the mail folder or Privacy Mode is activated (“Authorized access” set
for Mail), you cannot delete the software or mail folder even when “Yes” is selected.

● To delete all the software in folder from the folder list, place the cursor at the folder, press

select “Delete” → “Delete software”.
● When only the software has been deleted and the mail folder used for Message i-

ppli is left undeleted,
the message can be viewed from the submenu of the mail list.

● The protected software cannot be deleted by “Delete current” or “Delete select items”. To delete
protected software, clear the protection beforehand. Alternatively, select “Delete all items”, enter the
terminal security code, and then delete the software by selecting “All”.
● If you delete software preloaded by default, you can download it from i-mode site “My D-style”.
