Mail
Protecting received/sent mail [ Protect Mail ]
You can protect received, sent and unsent mail to avoid accidental deletion or being overwritten when
there is not enough storage space.
･
Up to 500 received mail and up to 100 items for each of sent mail and unsent mail can be protected.
･
Unread mail cannot be protected.
Protecting received mail

● All of the protected data are deleted when Delete All Data is performed.

● When protecting from the mail view screen, press

and select “Protect”. To cancel protection, press

and select “Cancel protection”.
● When operating from the sent/unsent mail list, press

and select “Protect” → “Protect”, “Protect
selected” or “Protect all”. To cancel protection, press
m
and select “Protect” → “Release”, “Cancel
selected” or “Cancel all protect”.
● If the maximum number of protected items is exceeded while protecting all mail, mail is protected in the
chronological order, most recent first, until the limit is reached.
● If mail is received when multiple received mail is selected, “Unable to display message” appears and the
moving operation may be canceled.
