■ Inserting to and displaying on a PC
When data is moved/copied to the miniSD memory card from FOMA terminal or still image or video
recorded with camera is saved directly to the miniSD memory card, the folder compatible with the file
is automatically created in the miniSD memory card. When the contents of the miniSD memory card
are displayed on a PC, etc., the folders and files are displayed as follows:
When saving data in the miniSD memory card from PC, etc., save in the specified folder with the
specified file format. If data is saved in the wrong folder or different file format, the data cannot be
recognized on FOMA terminal.
*1 DCF is an abbreviation of Design rule for Camera File system and it is a standard for file systems.
*2 Files with extension of 3GP or MP4 are treated as MP4 format.
*3 When the STILL folder becomes full, an SUDxxx folder is automatically created.
*4 When the RINGER folder becomes full, an RUDxxx folder is automatically created.
*5 Folders for data management. If you delete or rename a file in this folder, FOMA terminal cannot
correctly display data.

Folder and file name are all one-byte characters. Any different numbers 100 to 999 are placed in xxx of
folder name “D901I”, 001 to 999 in xxx of “SUD” and “RUD”, 0001 to 9999 in xxxx of file names “yyyy”,
“STIL” and “RING” and 00001 to 65535 in xxxxx of “PIM”. Any one-byte alphanumeric characters are
placed in yyyy. A hexadecimal value 001 to FFF is placed in zzz. (In hexadecimal notation, one digit is
represented with one of 16 alphanumeric characters 0 to 9 and A to F.)

● To use data copied to the miniSD memory card with a PC, etc., updating the miniSD memory card may
be required on FOMA terminal.
