Initialize it when you empty capacity of the miniSD memory card in which data is saved already or when

a new miniSD memory card is used in the FOMA terminal.

You cannot make a call or send mail from phonebook or schedule detail screen saved in miniSD memory

card. And in mail detail screen, replying, forwarding, editing, protecting and Phone To (AV Phone To)

cannot be executed.

●

Schedule saved in the miniSD memory card does not sound alarm for set date and time.

●

Place the cursor at the mail address in mail detail screen and press

to register the mail

address to phonebook or press

m32

to register it to phonebook by overwriting. Also, place the

cursor at the image or melody attached and press

m41

to display/play and press

m42

to check title. However,

the functions of Phone To (AV Phone To), Mail To or Web To cannot be used by placing the cursor at the

phone number, mail address or URL. Besides, still images beyond 10,000 bytes, i-motion and the

number of items cannot be displayed.

Quick format

: Only the data management area in the miniSD memory card is formatted.

Performing the minimum necessary processing is a method to shorten the format

period. The saved data are all deleted. Use this method only when the miniSD

memory card has been formatted and has no problem.

Regular format : Both the data management and data areas in the miniSD memory card are

formatted. This method is used to format a new miniSD memory card.
