Phonebook Search
Making calls from the phonebook
You can simplify the procedure for making calls by calling the phonebook data from the FOMA
terminal phonebook or UIM phonebook for the party to call.
Procedure for searching phonebook data

The phonebook data can be called by specifying the following search procedure:
* Cannot be used in the UIM phonebook.

In the searching method also available in the UIM phonebook, pressing

switches the FOMA
terminal phonebook search result screen and the UIM phonebook search result screen.

You can confirm the registered phonebook data by displaying it.

To search for phonebook entries including the entries set as secret attribute, set as Secret Mode then
search the data.

The UIM phonebook search result screen indicates in front of each entry name.

When Privacy Mode is active (“Authorized access” set for Phonebook & Logs), the terminal security
code entry is required.
