Message R/Fs reception procedure

If you applied to the i-mode service at the same time as new subscription to FOMA on or after October 1, 2004,

“

受信する

(Receive)” is set for Message F (free) setting by default. Please note that, if you do not like to receive

Message F, you have to change Message F setting to “

受信しない

(Not receive)” by yourself.

Note: If you like to use Message F in cases other than above, you have to make the setting in

“

” in advance. It is set to “

受信しない

” by default.

For details, see “FOMA i-mode User’s Manual” you received when you subscribed to i-mode.

Message R/Fs are stored in the i-mode Center when i-mode terminal is off or outside the i-mode service

area.

The i-mode Center can store Message R/Fs listed in the table below. Message R/Fs after expiring the

maximum storage period are deleted. When the maximum number of messages that can be stored is

exceeded, Message R/Fs are deleted beginning with the chronologically oldest message.

You can use Check i-mode Message (

P270) to receive Message R/Fs stored in the i-mode Center.

This service is provided by DoCoMo and delivers information such as news and weather forecasts to

your i-mode terminal using Message R (request).

Separate application (pay) is required. After application, the site for this service is automatically

registered in My Menu, and you can access the site from My Menu.
