Changing PIN1/PIN2 code [ Change PIN/PIN2 Code ]

To change the PIN1 code, set the PIN1 code ON/OFF Setting to “ON”.

Select the New PIN/PIN2 code field, enter the new PIN1/PIN2 code.

Select the New PIN/PIN2 code - check field, enter the same PIN1/PIN2 code in

The PIN1/PIN2 code is changed.

If the current PIN1/PIN2 code was not correctly entered, a confirmation screen of authentication
failure is displayed. Press

and enter the current PIN1/PIN2 code again. If a wrong PIN1/
PIN2 code is entered 3 times consecutively, the PIN1/PIN2 code is locked. Press

to display
the PUK entry screen.

Even if the wrong PIN2 code is entered 3 times consecutively and the FOMA terminal lock is activated,
sending/receiving signals such as making/receiving calls or sending/receiving mail is available, but if a
wrong PIN1 code is entered 3 times consecutively, the FOMA terminal lock is activated and the operations
involving sending and receiving signals become not available.
