Vibrator Setting
Using vibrator to signal incoming calls and alarms
The reception of voice or video-phone calls, messages chat mail or Message R/F is indicated by
vibration.
･
If FOMA terminal is placed on a desk, etc. when Vibrator is set, the vibrations of the vibrator operation
may cause it to fall off.
･ The settings in this function are reflected to settings for vibrator in Incoming & Outgoing (phone),
Incoming & Outgoing (video-phone), Incoming Msg., Incoming Chat Mail and Incoming Msg. Alert
settings.

If Incoming settings for Incoming Chat Mail Setting is set to “Sync msg alert”, the message that
“Chat mail receipt” cannot be set is displayed.

vibrates at the pattern in the cursor position for approximately 60 seconds. Note
that vibration is not activated when “Sync melody” or “OFF” is selected.

Vibrator is set and FOMA terminal vibrates on the incoming call/message and alarm notification.
When Vibrator is set, is indicated on the stand-by display.

When the ring alert volume is set to “Silent”, is displayed.
Default all settings are OFF
Pattern A : Vibrates as follows: 0.5 second vibration
→
0.5 second pause

1.5 seconds pause (repeated).
Pattern B : Vibrates as follows: 1 second vibration
→
2 second pause (repeated)
Pattern C : Vibrates as follows: 0.25 second vibration → 0.25 second pause (repeated)
Sync melody : Vibrates along with the melody that is selected in Sound Setting.

Vibration may not synchronize depending on melodies even if “Sync melody”
is set. In addition, vibration may not synchronize with the theme.
OFF : No vibration
INFORMATION
● Even if the vibrator is set, it may not be activated when Flash graphics sounds.
● When schedule alarm/advance alarm start time starts, Vibrator vibrates as set in the “Phone” setting.
● When the vibrator for incoming calls or mails of the phonebook have been set, the settings of phonebook
have priority, and then each group setting is given priority.
● Vibrator does not operate when a call is received during another call.
