NW Search Method
Determining service provider
This function allows you to select a FOMA service provider. Select whether to enter the service
provider manually or using automatic search. Enter the service provider when automatic search
is not to be used.

Checking current settings of functions

“Display”, “Security/Others”, “Clock”, “Send/Receive”, “Call”, “Video-phone”, “Mail”, “ mode”

to switch the screen in reverse order.
Default Auto select NW
Usually, you do not need to change this setting.
Search method
: Sets how to retrieve a network.
･ If you select “Auto select NW”, you cannot set “Manual select”.
Manual select
: Determines a service provider.
･
A service provider other than DoCoMo cannot be selected for manual selection (as of
December 2004)
･
A service provider other than DoCoMo cannot be selected for Pake-Houdai service.
