Clipping video
You can clip a part of video/i-motion from the beginning to the desired position.

on the stand-by display and select a folder.

Place the cursor at the video/i-motion to clip and press

Custom edit mode is activated and is displayed.
■ When tickers are inserted in video/i-motion to clip
A screen indicating that tickers may be deleted is displayed. Select “Yes” to activate Custom
edit mode.

Ticker may be deleted depending on the clipping position.

More than one image can be clipped out of the same video/i-motion.
During clipping, the current file size/maximum file size are displayed.

If you have clipped video/i-motion until the end, the screen of Step 4
appears.
■ Setting the limit of clipping size

Setting is available only when the original file size exceeds 290 Kbytes.

Select “Msg attach: Small” (290 Kbytes), “Msg attach: Large”
(490 Kbytes) or “No settings” (original file size of video/i-motion).

When video/i-motion file size during clipping has reached the limit
of the clipping size, clipping ends automatically.
･
When the original size of video/i-motion exceeds 490 Kbytes,
“No settings” is unavailable.
The clipped video/i-motion is saved in the same folder as the original
video/i-motion.
･
For a display name, up to 36 characters can be entered regardless of
whether one-byte or two-byte.
