Flash function
Flash is an animation technology that uses images and sounds, which makes colorful animations and
expressive sites be displayed. An image using Flash (Flash graphics) can be downloaded to i-mode
terminal and set as the stand-by display and incoming image.

Some Flash graphics use the information of your i-mode terminal. To use the terminal information, set
“Use saved data ” in Image & Effect Setting to “Yes”. It is set to “Yes” by default. The information to be
used by images are listed below:

Battery level
・
Received signal level
・
Time information
・ Ring Volume setting ・ Select Language setting ・ Model information

Flash graphics are not displayed when “Not display” is set in Image & Effect Setting.

On sites that use Flash graphics, the operations are the same but the indications may be different.

When saved as screen memo, some Flash graphics may appear different from those displayed on
sites because part of the image is not saved.

When saved as image, some Flash graphics may appear different from those displayed on sites
because part of the image is not saved.

The melody of Flash graphics set for the stand-by display or incoming image is not played.
･
Even if a Flash graphic is displayed, it may not operate correctly. Also, you may not be able to save
Flash graphics that are not correctly operated.

If an error occurs while playing a Flash graphic, the image cannot be saved.
･
Even if is indicated in the guide row, some Flash graphics may not be operated.

Some Flash graphics have sound effects. The volume conforms to the ring alert volume. To disable
sound effects, press

and set “OFF” for Sound effect setting (

Some Flash graphics vibrate FOMA terminal during play. Note that even if the vibrator is “OFF”,
FOMA terminal vibrates.

Sound effects or the vibrator is activated when you play Flash graphics saved in FOMA terminal from
Data Box. However, you cannot activate sound effects or the vibrator by selecting an item in the Flash
graphics displayed.

If no operation is performed for 30 seconds or longer while playing a Flash graphic, it is brought to a
pause. To replay, press

If the screen is switched to another and redisplayed while playing a Flash graphic, playing of the
