INFORMATION

Make sure that the O-ring stays in place.

Lift the backup heater (pipes) out of the bracket.

Disconnect the backup heater connector X12Y.

Remove the screw and disconnect the ground wire from the switch box.

Remove the backup heater from the unit.

To install the backup heater, see

"Repair procedures"

To install the backup heater

Install the backup heater in the correct location on the bracket. Make sure the
backup heater pipes are correctly installed in the bracket cutouts.

NOTICE

Check the condition of the O-rings and replace if needed. Apply water or silicon
grease to the O-rings before installation.

Install the lower backup heater coupling and install the clip.
