Removing the HDD
■ Actions before Replacement
Backup the Settings/Registration data.
1) Execute the following in remote UI.
Management Settings > Data Management > Import/Export
2) Execute the following in service mode.
(The Settings/Registration data values that cannot be backed up by using remote UI are
printed out as a list.)
(Lv.1) COPIER > FUNCTION > MISC-P > USER-PRT
■ Procedure
1) Open the Right Lower Cover, Right Upper Cover and the Right Rear Cover 1.

2) Open the HDD Lid.
• 1 screw
3) Remove the signal cable and the power cable from the HDD.

4) Put the removed Signal Cable and the Power Supply Cable into the hole on the Controller
Box.
