DIMMs Installation Order
DIMMs must be populated in pairs and in the following order: Group #1, #2, #3, #4, #5
and #6.

Install matched pairs of DIMMs equal in speed and size.

Refer to “Using the Memory RAS Features” on page 183 to
configure the memory mirrorins and online sare memory fea-
tures.
Installing DIMMs
Caution
The server supports DIMMs of only the low-profile type (30 mm
(1.2 inches) in height). It does not support DIMMs exceeding
the specified height.
