Secure a hard disk drive into the carrier with four screws (one at the front and

one at the back on both sides).

With the handle fully open, hold the drive carrier and handle, and isert it into

the chassis.

Caution

■

Do not push on the handle before it begins to close by itself.

■

Carefully hold the hard disk drive with both hands.

■

Do not press the POWER switch during the installation or
removal of the hard disk drive if your server is running.

Note: Confirm that the handle is hooked to the frame when

having inserted the hard disk drive.
