You can also see the Logical Drive number managed by the LSI Software RAID
Configuration Utility in [ID] in the Logical Drive properties of the Universal RAID
Utility.
RAID system
The LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility identifies the RAID system starting
from 0. You can see the RAID system number using [Axx] in [Objects - PHYSICAL
DRIVE SELECTION MENU] DG X] in the [Objects] menu.
The Universal RAID Utility identifies the RAID system starting from 1. You can see
the RAID system number using [RAID system] in the Logical Drive properties on the
RAID Viewer or using [RAID Controller #X RAID system #Y] in the RAID system
properties on the raidcmd command.
Physical Drive and Physical Device
The LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility identifies a Physical Drive using IDs.
You can see the ID of a Physical Drive using [Port #] of [Objects - PHYSICAL DRIVE
SELECTION MENU] DG X] in the [Objects] menu.
The Universal RAID Utility identifies Physical Devices starting from 1 and using an
ID. You can see the number and ID of a Physical Device using [Number] and [ID] in
the Physical Device properties on the RAID Viewer or the [RAID Controller #X
Physical Device #Y] and [ID] in the Physical Device properties on the raidcmd
command.
Priority Settings
The LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility displays and sets the Rebuild Priority
and the Consistency Check Priority of the RAID Controller using a percentage whereas
the Universal RAID Utility uses three levels (High/Middle/Low).
