Target product
If this TeraStation is selected, clicking [Register the iSCSI Hard Disk] will register all the volumes in the
TeraStation to the computer for enabling connection to individual volumes.
If a volume is already registered, click [Remove the registered iSCSI Hard Disk] to unregister all volumes,
disconnecting them from the TeraStation.
Model name
Displays TeraStation's model name.
Series Name
Displays TeraStation's series name.
IP Address
Displays TeraStation's IP address.
Subnet Mask
Displays TeraStation's subnet mask.
Firmware
Displays TeraStation's fi rmware version.
MAC Address
TeraStation's MAC address.
iSCSI Service
Shows whether the iSCSI service of the TeraStation is running or stopped.
Volume
Select individual volumes from a registered TeraStation.
Select a volume and click [Connect], then the selected volume will be recognized as a local drive in My
Computer on your computer. If a volume is connected, click [Remove] to disconnect it.
Note:
You must register TeraStation as an iSCSI hard drive at [Target product] to display it.
Current status
Displays current status of the selected volume.
• [Disconnected]: Volume is disconnected.
• [Connected]: Volume is connected.
• [Connected to another PC]: Volume is connected to other computer. Displays other computer's IP ad-
dress.
Note:
You must register TeraStation as an iSCSI hard drive at [Target product] to display it.
User authorization
Displays user authentication for the specifi ed volume.
• [Disabled]: No authentication.
• [Enabled]: With authentication. User authentication is needed to connect to a volume.
Note:
You must register TeraStation as an iSCSI hard drive at [Target product] to display it. It is not displayed
when the volume is already connected from other computer.
Connect on Star t
Up
If this option is selected, clicking [Connect] or [Remove] will set the computer so that it automatically
connects to the volume when the computer is started (constant connection). If the check mark is re-
moved, clicking [Connect] or [Remove] will set the computer so that it is not automatically connected
to the volume when the computer is started (normal connection).
Note:
You must register TeraStation as an iSCSI hard drive at [Target product] to display it. It is not displayed
when the volume is already connected from other computer.
