• To turn on the TeraStation before the startup time after operation was ended by the sleep timer, press the
power button the TeraStation. This switches from standby mode to power-on mode.
Sleep timer settings are now complete.
Wake on LAN
The TeraStation supports Wake on LAN, which allows it to be turned on remotely.

In the TeraStation's Web Admin interface, click [Network].

Enable [Wake on LAN], then click [OK].
Wake on LAN is now enabled. As long as it is connected to power and the network, you can turn on the TeraStation
re motely.
Notes:
• After receiving the Wake on LAN packet, the TeraStation may take approximately five minutes to be ready to
use.
• After power is restored from a power outage, wait five minutes before sending a Wake on LAN packet to the
TeraSta tion.
• To use Wake on LAN, you'll need Wake on LAN software such as AMD's Magic Packet utility. The TeraStation does
not include Wake on LAN software.
• The TeraStation does not support using Wake on LAN and port trunking at the same time. You may use either
