From [Target USB drive], select the USB memory device that is connected to the USB 2.0 port of the TeraStation.

Select [Save settings to a USB drive], then click [Execute].
To create a USB memory device that resets the TeraStation administrator password to the default password,
select [Create a special USB drive for password recovery].
This completes the setup.

operation cannot be executed". Check the following things:

The USB memory device should be connected to a USB 2.0 port, not a USB 3.0 port.
•

•
The USB memory device's write-protection switch should not be engaged.
