From [Target USB drive], select the USB memory device that is connected to the USB 2.0 port of the TeraStation.

Select [Save settings to a USB drive], then click [Execute].
To create a USB memory device that resets the TeraStation administrator password to the default password,
select [Create a special USB drive for password recovery].
This completes the setup.

If the settings are not saved to the USB memory device successfully, you may receive the error message "The specifi ed
operation cannot be executed". Check the following things:

The USB memory device should be connected to a USB 2.0 port, not a USB 3.0 port.
•
The USB memory device should have a capacity of 1 GB or larger.
•
The USB memory device's write-protection switch should not be engaged.
