Enter the port number that you want to use and the time that the index will be updated, then click [OK].

You can identify your IP address from NAS Navigator2.

Enter your TeraStation's username and password, then click [Login].

Enter a keyword in the [Search] fi eld.
Note:
Clicking [Enhanced Search] enables searches by specifying the fi lename, owner, date updated, and fi le size.

Click [Search].
The search results are displayed. Clicking the fi lename in the results opens the fi le.
Notes:
• Depending on your Internet browser (such as Firefox), the file may not open when the filename is clicked in the
search results.
• Instead of the procedure above, you can also configure TeraSearch from Easy Setup.
• Domain users cannot search in folders with access restrictions.
This completes the procedure for searching for fi les in the TeraStation.

TeraStation as if the computer is connected to the network even when the computer is disconnected from the network.
