The opened fi le can be cached locally for usage offl
ine. Previous versions of fi les and applications executed from
the network that are not synchronized are automatically deleted, and they are replaced by the latest version of the

• Select [Control Panel] - [Folder Options] in Windows 2000 Server.
• If you are using Windows 7, skip steps 7 and 8, and move to step 9. To check if Offline files is enabled, follow the
procedure below.
1. Open the Windows folder, press [Alt] on the keyboard, and select [Tool] - [Open Sync Center].
2. Click [Manage offline files].
3. If the message "Offline Files is currently enabled." is displayed, Offline Files is enabled. Click [Disable offline
files] to disable Offline Files. If Offline Files are disabled, click [Enable offline files].

Offl
ine fi les cannot be enabled if [Use Fast User Switching] is enabled. To change the setting, open [User Accounts]
in Control Panel and select [Change the way users log on or off ].
