Connecting a Printer
A USB printer can be used by connecting to the USB port of the TeraStation.
Notes:
• Only one USB printer can be connected to the TeraStation.
• Bidirectional communication is not supported (remaining ink quantities and other information about the
printer status cannot be obtained).
• If a multifunctional printer is connected, only the printer function can be used. The other functions (scanner,
card reader, fax, etc.) are not available.
• A printer cannot be used by connecting to the TeraStation when using a Mac OS X.
Setting up a Printer on Windows 7 or Windows Vista

In the TeraStation's Web Admin interface, click [Services].

Change the icon next to [Print Server] from

Refer to the manual supplied with the printer and install the printer drivers.

Click [Start] - [Network].

Double-click the TeraStation (server name).

Double-click the icon of the connected printer (shared name is displayed).
