Set up port trunking as described below.

If the TeraStation is being used as an iSCSI hard drive, to change the settings, navigate to [Drives] - [iSCSI] in the
Web Admin interface and set the icon to

Use an Ethernet cable to connect the hub LAN port and TeraStation LAN port 1.
Notes:
• Do not connect the second Ethernet cable to the TeraStation yet.
• If using an intelligent switch, connect to a LAN port that was set for port trunking beforehand.

In the TeraStation's Web Admin interface, click [Network].

Click
next to [Port Trunking].

Click the name of the port trunking that will be set.

Select the port that will be used, select the port trunking mode, and click [Change port trunking].

Connect the hub LAN port and TeraStation LAN port 2 using the second LAN cable.
Note:
If using an intelligent switch, connect to a LAN port that was set for port trunking beforehand.

Press the TeraStation's power button twice within 3 seconds to turn it off . Press it again to restart the TeraStation.
Port Trunking is now confi gured.
Note:
Once port trunking is confi gured, restart the TeraStation using the power button on the front panel. If the
TeraStation does not restart, network communication may be unstable.
