File name error;
file too large
The file uploaded to the counter is greater than
1 GByte.

File name error;
folder not empty
When deleting a folder from an I/O (remote) inter-
face, the folder must be empty - no sub-folders or
files. Un-empty folders CAN be deleted from the
front panel.

File name error;
unknown file extension
Depending on the memory operation and file type,
valid file extensions are .csv, .dat, .sta, and .prf.

System Error;
internal software error
At power-on, the firmware is unable to obtain
information from the instrument’s non-volatile
memory to complete initialization. Cycle power
again. Contact Agilent if the error remains.

failed to erase calibration data
in PIC EEProm
For system errors related to erasing, reading, or
writing calibration data, verify that the instrument
has the latest firmware revision installed. Firm-
ware updates can be located beginning at the
“Technical Support” tab at
www.agilent.com/find/53220A or
www.agilent.com/find/53230A. If the error condi-
tion remains, contact Agilent.

I2C Comms Failure
I2C related errors if they occur, will occur most
often during boot up when power is cycled. If this
type of error occurs cycle power again. If the error
remains, contact Agilent with a complete descrip-
tion of the error message.

Calibration memory lost;
memory corruption detected
The instrument was unable to reference calibra-
tion data in non-volatile memory. Perform a recali-
bration.
