Initiating a call on a busy channel may result in two ways depending on whether the
option,
Trunk outgoing calls when busy , is enabled or disabled. If this option is enabled,
the call is trunked to the next available MAP27 channel; otherwise, a busy indication is
displayed.
Terminating a Call
Pressing the Call Discon button on the screen terminates an active voice call.
For all call types, the Call Progress area of the channel box shows the progress of the call
setup. The progress conditions are shown in
Table 13 .

Initiating a Site-wide Call
The console allows operator to send a site-wide call by activating an instant call page
button that has been configured to send a site-wide call. Please refer to
Series 4000
Indication Description
Rad Discon The connection between the channel card and the radio is not
responding.
Indiv An individual call has been set up.
Group A group call has been set up.
Status OK The status transmission was acknowledged.
SST RX’d SST message received – the text of the message is shown in the
Call History window.
Inv Number The ID entered does not conform to MPT1343 rules.
No Number No ID was entered.
Alerted The call unit is alerted.
Alerting The call unit is alerting.
Queued A call attempt has been queued.
Emergency The emergency call is proceeding.
Diverted The call has been diverted.
Rejected A call attempt has been rejected (system overload).
Canceled The call was aborted/not successful.
Out of Rch Called unit is unavailable (normal or diverted).
Unit Busy The called unit is busy.
Call Back Called unit will call back.
Inv Status The status number sent is invalid.
Regroup Proc The radio is currently sending the Dynamic Regroup information
over the air.
Regroup OK The Dynamic Regroup message was successful.
Regroup Fail The Dynamic Regroup message failed to complete.
