Operation
Sending an SST (Short Status Text) Message
From the MAP27 Call submenu or the Subscriber List window, enter a radio ID (either by
pressing a Subscriber ID button or by manually entering the ID), then press the
SST/MST
Select
button. This brings up an SST message selection submenu/subwindow (see
and
), which shows any programmed SST buttons. After selecting an SST
button, or manually entering the SST text from the keyboard (from 1 to 100 characters),
click
Send SST/MST
to send the message. Clicking
Exit
returns you to the main MAP27
Call submenu, or to the main Subscriber List window.
