Operating IntegratorRD Workstations
60
Logging off using the UMS Logon utility closes all of the open Integrator applications to
which you were logged on. To close individual applications, use their exit option.
Switch User
When a user is logged in and IntegratorRD is running, in order for switch user to be
allowed, the new user must have permission to access the current display used in
IntegratorRD.
Button Functions
This section describes touch screen and mouse operation. Touch screen and mouse
operations are performed by pressing the appropriate button. For example, you activate a
menu by touching the menu display button on the touch screen, or by moving the mouse
pointer over the menu button and clicking the left button. In addition, for system or
channel control functions that are programmed on the keyboard, pressing the appropriate
key performs the same operation as touch screen or mouse operation.
Mouse Operation
describes the console functions performed by a three-button mouse or trackball. If
a two-button mouse is used, the middle mouse button function is not available.
Warning!
Do not use Windows XP “fast user switching” feature. Fast
user switching can cause instability in IntegratorRD.

Note
The functions described in
assume that the PC mouse
buttons are not assigned to actions other than the standard button
click for each button. In particular, the middle mouse button cannot
be assigned in Windows for “Double Click” and still operate the
Instant Select function described below.
