M427 Dispatcher Controls Operation
Radio Availability Check
To query a field radio’s availability status, enter a radio ID (either by pressing/selecting a
Subscriber ID button or by manually entering the ID), then press the
Radio Check
button
(preprogrammed button only, not available on any submenu or Subscriber List window).
The first idle M427 Dispatcher Port is automatically highlighted. The result of the radio
availability check is displayed in the channel box (example: “Rad Avail.”).
The
Radio Check
button can also be used to query the complete identification (
fleet + ID Number) of a MAP27 channel connected to the console. To do this, highlight
the MAP27 channel and press the
Radio Check
button. The highlighted channel box
displays the complete identification number of that channel.
Radio ESN (Electronic Serial Number) Check
To query a field radio’s ESN information, enter a radio ID (either by pressing/selecting a
Subscriber ID button or by manually entering the ID), then press the
Check ESN
button
(preprogrammed button only, not available on any submenu or Subscriber List window).
The first idle M427 Dispatcher Port is automatically highlighted. Then the ESN of the
queried radio is displayed in the lower left text area of the console. (Example: “ESN
INFO: Man. Code: 2 / Model # 7 / Serial # 79245”).
