Running Mode There are three running modes:

printing.

Scan mode – the IIT is operating for
copy, local, and network scanning, and
for Fax sending.

Fax communication mode
– Fax
sending/receiving is in progress.
Recording The system is operating.
Fusing Maintained at operating temperature.
IIT Scanner or ADF is in operation, scanning
lamp is on.
Control Panel LCD - Backlight: On
LED - Ready LED is On.
Ready Mode The printer is in standby, ready to run.
Recording The system is at Pause.
Fusing The system maintains standby
temperature.
