11. Install your controller PPD using the following procedure.
a. In the Driver’s dialog box, select A:\.
b. In the Directories dialog box, double click on PPDS.
c. In the PostScript Printer descriptions (PPD’s) available
dialog box, select your controller.
d. Click Next. If you selected Local Printer in step 11, skip
to step 13.
12. Indicate the queue to use in the network path by either typing it
in or clicking Browse and locating the queue. If you are not
sure of the queue, check with your system administrator. If you
get a message that says Not a Win 95 Host, click Next and skip
to step 14.
13. Make your local port selection using the following procedure.
a. In the Available Ports dialog box, choose the port to
which your printer is attached. If you are not sure of the
port, check with your system administrator.
b. Click Configure Port. Make sure that all options selected
(Spool MS-DOS print jobs and Check port state before
printing),
14. Locate the Printer name dialog box and select the desired
options. This includes the following:
a. Leave the default controller name or type in a name you
prefer.
b. Check Yes if you want the printer as the default for
printing.
c. Check Yes if you want to print a test page.
d. Click Next. The Printer Properties window appears.
