To install Command Center, locate the XANTÉ Command Center
icon on the XANTÉ disk and drag it onto your system. Although, It
does not have to reside in a particular folder, we recommend placing
Command Center with the XANTÉ Linearizer, since the programs
are used together frequently.
To use the program, double click the icon to open it. For more details
on using Command Center, see chapter 7, “Imaging Basics,” and
chapter 8, “Color Management.”
Installing XANTÉ Linearizer
Your new Accel-a-Graphix CT4 controller package includes the
XANTÉ Linearizer Tool with the utilities. The Linearizer helps
ensure accurate color calibration of equipment. It directly interfaces
with many popular color measurement devices such as Light
Source’s Colortron II.
To install the Linearizer, locate the XANTÉ Linearize icon on the
XANTÉ Utilities disk and drag it onto your system. Although, It
does not have to reside in a particular folder, we recommend placing
it with XANTÉ Command Center, since the programs are used
together frequently.
To use the Linearizer, double click the icon to open it. For more
details on the Linearizer see the linearization sections in chapter 7,
“Imaging Basics,” and chapter 8, “Color Management.”
