Changing PC Communication Settings

When you install the XANTÉ PPD for Windows, the communication
selection is set automatically to LPT1: (parallel). You can change
this to COM1: (serial) communication using the following
procedure.

1.

Start your Windows application.

2.

Open the Program Manager and locate the Main group.

3.

Double-click the Main group icon to open that window.

4.

Double-click the Control Panel icon to open that window.

5.

Double-click the Printers icon to open that window (fig. 6.27).
