Lighten or Darken an Overall Image

If you want to lighten an overall page image, increase the gamma
curve on all four colors by the same value. You can do this using
Photoshop’s Adjust Curves feature to lighten the midtones of these
curves.

by the same value. This change has the same effect for both RGB
and CMYK images.
