4 Preparation and operation
4.3.5 Changing the battery
Requirement
The replacement battery is fully charged.
1. Switch off the device
(see "4.6 Switching the device off",

Connect the device to the line power.
2. Take battery out of the battery compartment.
3. Slide the replacement battery into the battery compartment
until it audibly clicks into place.
4. If the device is not switched on: Switch on the device
(see "4.5 Switching the device on", page 64)

The device can still be used for
approx. 15 minutes. A timer in
the alarm field counts down the time
until the device switches off.
