– Unbolt engine side of assembly mounting from engine bracket

– Lower engine on support bracket - 10 - 222 A- until coolant
pump can be removed.
– Remove coolant pump belt pulley. To do this, counterhold belt
pulley with a drift (commercially available).
– Unscrew coolant pump securing bolts -1- and remove coolant
pump -2- forwards and downwards.
Installing:
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following.
– Moisten new O-ring with coolant.
– Fit coolant pump.
– Tighten securing bolts for coolant pump. Specified torque:
8 Nm
– Install belt pulley for coolant pump. Specified torque: 20 Nm
– Raise engine with support device - 10 - 222 A- again and
mount with new securing bolts, hand-tightened.
– Align engine mountings as follows:
♦ There must be a distance -a- of at least 10 mm between engine
support and longitudinal member (right side).
♦ The side surface of the engine support -2- should be located
parallel to the support arm -1-.
– Tighten new bolts for engine assembly mounting and engine
bracket. Specified torque
– Install pendulum support.
– Install poly V-belt

– Add coolant
.
– Install front right wheel housing liner ⇒ General body repairs,

– Install noise insulation ⇒ General body repairs, exterior; Rep.

– Install right front wheel.
1 - When fitting the wheel, tighten all the wheel bolts by hand
uniformly.
2 - Tighten wheel bolts to approx. 30 Nm in diagonal sequence.
3 - Lower the vehicle to the floor and use a torque spanner to
tighten all the wheel bolts diagonally to the specified tor‐
ques.
