Note

Never dismantle the high-pressure pump.
♦
If an injector is removed, the combustion chamber seal (Tef‐
lon) and O-ring must be renewed
♦
Note safety precautions before starting installation work

1 - High-pressure pipe
❑ 28 Nm
❑ Make sure that fuel pipe
does not touch other
components!
❑ Install free of tension.
❑ To install, first tighten
union nuts hand tight.
❑ Loosen and tighten with
socket - T10456-
❑ Before installing: first
tighten connection at
high-pressure pump to
40 Nm.
2 - Low-pressure hose
❑ Note installation marks
❑ Renew when removed
3 - Spring-type clip
❑ Note the position of the
spring clips
4 - Plunger
❑ Check for damage
❑ oiled and insert in the
cylinder head with its
guide in the correct po‐
5 - O-ring
❑ From high-pressure
pump
❑ Renew
❑ Lubricate lightly with
clean engine oil
