♦ Lambda probe open ring spanner set - 3337-

♦ High-temperature paste - G 052 112 A3-
Removing:
– Remove 3 bolts of underbody cover on right -arrows-.
– Disconnect plug connectors for the Lambda probe after the

catalytic converter - G130- -1- and the Lambda probe 2 after

catalytic converter - G131- -2- on vehicle underbody.

– Undo bolts of Lambda probes -1- and -2-.
Installing:
– When reusing Lambda probe, lubricate threads with high tem‐

perature paste - G 052 112 A3- . Paste may not come into

contact with slots on probe body.

– Screw Lambda probe after catalytic converter - G130- into ex‐

haust pipe of bank 1. Identifying feature: Black connector.

– Screw Lambda probe 2 after catalytic converter - G131- into

exhaust pipe of bank 2. Identifying feature: brown connector.

Specified torque: 50 Nm
– Restore the original cable routing.
Continue installation in reverse order of removal.
