– Remove air filter housing with connecting hose. To do this,

unscrew bolt -A-, pull off connector -B- and detach spring-type

clip -C-. Take note of marking -D- when refitting.

– Detach vacuum line -A-.
– Remove securing bolts -arrows-.
– Carefully detach vacuum pump from cylinder head.

Installing:
– Check sealing ring in vacuum pump -A- for damage. If the seal

is damaged, the vacuum pump must be renewed.

– Turn the rotor in vacuum pump so that the flat sides of input

shaft fit into rotor.

– Push vacuum pump steadily as far as it will go into locating

bore of cover.

– Tighten the securing bolts -arrows- and refit the vacuum line

-A-.
