– Unscrew bolt -2- and lay filler neck -1- for washer fluid reservoir

to front.

– Unplug connector -3-.
– Unscrew bolts -5- and lay coolant expansion tank -4- on en‐

gine with the hoses connected.

Note

Undo the bolts on the engine mounting and gearbox mounting by

one turn.

WARNING

Danger of injury due to coolant.

♦ Do not open the air conditioner refrigerant circuit.

So that engine can be removed even without opening refrigerant

circuit:
– Remove air conditioner compressor from ancillary bracket ⇒

Heating, air conditioning; Rep. gr. 87 ; Air conditioner com‐

pressor; Removing and installing air conditioner compressor

from and to bracket .

Caution

Danger of damage to coolant lines and hoses.

♦ Do NOT stretch, kink or bend refrigerant lines and hoses.

– Secure air conditioner compressor, as shown, to bumper cov‐

er with fastening strap - T10038- and appropriate underlay

-A-. Slide fastening strap - T10038- as far as possible towards

securing bolt -arrow-.
