The 146iQ can be configured with flow controllers for providing
calibration gas to other instruments. These flow controllers regulate the
amount of calibration gas by mixing a flow of span gas using one flow
controller with zero air or a dilution gas using a second flow controller. The
flow controllers are digitally controlled via a RS-485 interface.
Provides controlled amounts of zero air or a dilution gas for diluting span
or calibration gases by a specified amount to provide a known calibration
gas output from the 146iQ to the external analyzer.
A flow controller to provide a known amount of calibration gas to be
diluted.
The 146iQ can be configured with a second span gas flow controller to
provide a greater operating range of calibration gas output from the 146iQ
to the external analyzer.
The optical bench has an airtight chambers that alternately contain the
sample and reference gases with a photometer lamp at one end and a
detector at the other end.
The photo-diode in the detector transmits light intensity information to
the DMC board for sample measurement computations.
The photometer lamp power supply generates high voltage AC and
contains heater control circuits for the photometer lamp.
The optional internal ozonator operates on the photolytic principle. The
ozone level produced is a function of light intensity at 185 nm and gas
flow. The light intensity is varied by changing the current into the lamp.
