The Permeation Oven Setup screen allows the user to define the
permeation tube gas, enter the permeation constant (K, described in
Chapter 9, “
Optional Equipment ”) and the relevant permeation rate of the
permeation tube, set the permeation oven temperature setpoint, and set up
the zero mode flows and up to 6 diluted span concentrations. The
respective minimum and maximum allowable values are calculated based
on setpoints and/or acceptable MFC operation ranges.

The Permeation Oven Setup screen contains the following information:

Permeation Oven: This column lists items associated with the
permeation oven setup.

Setting: User enters parameters relevant to the permeation oven
operation.

Minimum: Minimum allowable value.

Maximum: Maximum allowable value.
●
Units: Displays units for each item.

Total Flow (sccm): Displays the relevant measured/calculated total
flows based on flow measurement/chosen setpoint.

Down:

Permeation Gas Name: User enters permeation tube gas name
through an alphanumeric keypad.
