7.1.2 Identification plate
The identification plate applied on the analysis unit mentions information related to the year of
construction, the serial number, the type approval number as well as the name of the manufacturer
and the model of the instrument.
In compliance with current regulations it also mentions the measuring unit technical features. Apply
a copy of the instrument identification plate here following. I The user must always refer to the
identification data on this plate whenever it is necessary to request information.

7.1.3 Installation and assembly
Remove the components from the package.
For the 840 model, place the module on the
supplied stand.
For the other models, place the opacity
measurement unit on the optional trolley or other
support, but always with the exhaust gas inlet at a
minimum height of 323 mm from the ground.
Install the handle by unscrewing and re-screwing
the supplied screws on the top of the opacimeter.
