2C-9 Rear Suspension:
Cushion rod
Remove the cushion rod bearings using the special
tools.
Special tool
(A): 09921–20240 (Bearing remover set)
Installation
CAUTION
!
The removed bearings and cushion seals
must be replaced with new ones.
Cushion lever
1) Press the bearings into the cushion lever with the
special tool and suitable socket wrench as shown in
the rear suspension assembly construction. Refer to
“Rear Suspension Assembly Construction (Page 2C-
2)”.
NOTE
When installing the bearing, stamped mark
on the bearing must face outside.
Special tool
(A): 09924–84521 (Bearing installer set)
2) Install the cushion lever seal with the special tool.
Special tool
(B): 09913–70210 (Bearing installer set)
3) Apply grease to the bearings and cushion lever
seals.
: Grease 99000–25010 (SUZUKI SUPER
GREASE A or equivalent)
Cushion rod
1) Press the bearings into the cushion rod with the
special tool.
NOTE
When installing the bearing, stamped mark
on the bearing must face outside.
