Fuel System: 1G-11
• Apply grease to the O-ring (2).
CAUTION
!
Replace the O-ring with a new one.
: Grease 99000–25010 (SUZUKI SUPER
GREASE A or equivalent)
• When installing the fuel pump assembly, first tighten
all the fuel pump mounting bolts lightly and then to the
specified torque as shown in the figure.
NOTE
Fit the clamp to the bolt “B”.
Tightening torque
Fuel pump mounting bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0
lb-ft)

Disassembly
1) Disconnect the fuel pump coupler (1).
2) Remove the band (2) and clamp (3).
3) Remove the hose (4) and filter cover (5).
4) Remove the clamp (6) and thermistor (7).
5) Remove the fuel mesh filter (8).
6) Remove the fuel pump (9).
