Partition
The SRAM for the FIFO has up to 27 partitions.
The partitions are classified as follows:
(1) Decimation Partitions
…
x 4 partitions x 2 sets (Total: 8 partitions)
(2) Normal Sensor Partitions
…
x 8 partitions
(3) Virtual Sensor Partitions
…
x 10 partitions
(4) Random Access Partitions
…
x 1 partition
The region of each partition is allocated by specifying an arbitrary address size from the 40 Kbytes of SRAM. The
allocation must be done under the following conditions.
The partition regions must not overlap
Each partition size must be equal to or larger than the value 1 and must be an integral multiple of the Sample
size.
The writing port and readout port must have a one-to-one relation, and the readout ports that are not used
must be set to disable.
When performing power supply control of the SRAM, the partition region must not be set across the 8
Kbytes and 32 Kbytes of the two SRAMs.
The number of each partition’s writing ports/readout ports depends on the type of the partition. For clarification,
Table SCU (Sensor Control Unit)-102 shows the mnemonics for each partition name and by each writing
port/readout port.
