Short-circuiting battery terminals may
overheat or damage battery.

Charger, battery or handset may warm while
charging; this is normal.
●
If charging generates interference, move
charger away from TV, radio, etc.
Charging Notes
●
Dirty terminals may hinder charging or cause
power to fail. Clean battery, handset or
charger terminals with a dry cotton swab.
●
Avoid storing handset with an exhausted
battery installed. Charge at least once every six
months.
●
Use a case to carry battery separately to avoid
short-circuiting the terminals.
Battery Time
●
The following actions shorten battery
operating time:

Using handset, battery or charger with
soiled charging terminals

Using handset with weak signals or standby
out-of-range

Playing music or video clips

Using Camera

Turn brightness of the screen dark or turn off
communication functions to extend battery
operating time (P.19-4).
