Charging Battery
Charging with AC Adapter
1.
Insert USB plug into AC Adapter

Insert microUSB plug into external
terminal
3.
Plug AC Adapter into a 100V AC
outlet
As battery charges, notification LED
lights solid orange. LED lights solid
green when battery is fully charged.
4.
When battery is fully charged,
disconnect AC Adapter
Unplug AC Adapter, then disconnect
handset.
Handset Power On/Off
Power On

Press Power Key ( )
Home screen (P.1-13) appears.
Power Off

Press and hold Power Key ( )
Phone options menu appears.

Power off ＞ OK
Tip
･ Alternatively, charge via PC using bundled
USB Cable. Note the following:
･ Battery does not charge if handset or PC
is turned off.
･ Battery may not charge depending on the
environment.
･ PC charging may take longer; charging
time varies by PC.
Tip
･ PIN1 entry may be required at power on to
use handset (P.18-2).
･ When power on handset for the first time,
you will be prompted to set up your
handset (P.1-11). Follow the onscreen
instructions to complete the setup, or skip
setup and do it at another time.
