Braking Resistor
EM330D with an integrated braking unit can be connected to braking resistor directly.
Select braking resistor for EM330D as per Table 11-1.

Braking Unit
Separate BR100 braking unit is available for EM330D which is without an integrated
braking unit, power ratings of BR100: 18.5
~
315kW. SINEE-make BR100 model
specifications are as shown in the following table.

Remarks:
When BR100-160 is in minimum resistance, when brake duty ratio D≤33%, braking unit
can work continuously, and it needs to work non-continuously when brake duty ratio
D>33%. Otherwise, braking unit will trip over-heating.
